How do I apply for a personal loan online?

Applying for a loan online is simple! All you have to do is follow this link and complete all of the relevant fields. 

What do I need to apply for a short-term loan online?

All you need to apply for a loan online with Tsheleka is:

  • a smartphone or a computer

  • original SA ID

  • latest 3 months' bank statement

  • latest payslip

How much am I able to get through an online loan?

You can apply to receive up to R8,000 over 6 months.

How long will it take to receive my money once my application is accepted?

Payment is often processed on the same day. Once you have accepted the DebiCheck, it will reflect after 5 hours.

How do I pay back my short-term online loan?

Payment can be organised via Debit Order. 

Can I get a loan if I have been blacklisted?

No. We keep all operations NCR compliant, which means we will not assist an applicant under debt review. 

IN PERSON MICRO LOANS

How do I apply for a short-term micro loan in person?

Applying is simple at any of our Tsheleka Finance branches. We have 13 across KZN and the Free State, and over 75 mobile points throughout KZN. You can find your nearest branch here. To find your nearest mobile point, contact your nearest branch.

What do I need to apply for a short-term loan at one of the Tsheleka branches?

All you need to apply for a loan at any Tsheleka branch is:

  • a Cellphone Number

  • a copy of your SA ID

  • latest 3 months' Bank Statement

  • latest Payslip

How long will it take to receive my payout?

Once your loan application has been approved, payout is immediate.

How will I receive my payout?

We pay all of our payouts via eWallet. This is to ensure your safety.

Will I be able to afford your interest rates?

We always run extensive affordability checks before we lend you any amount of money. One of our promises is that we will never overlend.

How do I pay back my short-term loan?

Payment can be organised via EFT and Debit Order. Or you can visit one of our branches or pay stations across KZN and the Free State to complete your repayment.

Can I get a loan if I have been blacklisted?

No. We keep all operations NCR compliant, which means we will not assist an applicant under debt review.
